Offshore aquaculture technology: mobile autonomous ocean fish farm
An inventor at a German company developed a patented mobile autonomous ocean fish farm, that resists offshore inclemency and that is low cost, low risk, sustainable and economic and that takes fish welfare into account. Cylindrical fish cages are linked to a separate, one point anchored service station. The cages submerge below wave trough in low levels, where fish usually live. A prototype has been successfully tested in the Atlantic. Partners are sought for license agreements.
